Charter price advertised on our web page is a price for the boat only. This refers to sailing boats, motor yachts and catamarans that are chartered bareboat. Besides this, there are obligatory costs for these categories. These are final cleaning fee, transit log, tourist taxes, fuel, and security deposit. Moreover, there are other costs as well like marina fees, parking spots, food, drinks, skipper if you need one, early check in-s (upon request) and other.
Prices for luxury yachts, gullets, mini cruisers, advertised on our web page, include crew as well. Obligatory extra costs for these categories are food, drinks, tourist and port fees, APA amount (Advanced provisioning allowance) and other extra services upon your request.
You can leave security deposit in the base upon check in and you can leave it in cash or with credit card. In case there is no damage on the boat after the charter finishes the complete amount will be returned to you. If there is a damage on boat, the highest amount you can pay is the amount of security deposit. If the damage on the boat is higher than the amount of security deposit, boat insurance will cover the rest.

When hiring a skipper, he should have his own cabin. This way you and the skipper have all the comfort and privacy. Some of the larger sailing yachts have special crew cabin that is meant for the skipper. Yacht’s layout and specifications show this feature. Moreover, skipper can sleep in the salon of the boat instead. Of course, this is something you agree on with the skipper.
Charter price includes yacht and crew insurance, but it doesn’t include travel insurance. We definitely recommend that you have travel insurance. In case you would need help with this matter, let us know.
When planning a sailing vacation, you don’t want to bring too much stuff with you and too big luggage. Boats have limited storage, so please have this in mind.
It is more convenient that you pack in a soft bag, rather in a hard suitcase, so that all crew members can store the luggage.
You should carry some spare swimsuits, shorts, t-shirts, water proof jacket and few pieces of warmer clothes in case of bad weather. As for the towels, you can rent these in the base. Also, please don’t forget to bring the sunblock with you. But don’t worry if you do because you can always buy it in any store in the marina.
Yes, you need to make sure the skipper has daily meals during the charter period. Food for the skipper is not included in the skipper’s fee.
Official currency in Croatia is Euro. You can make payments with credit card in almost all places along the coast. Anyhow, there are ATM’s in almost all marinas and places, where you can take cash in case credit card payment is not possible.
Marina berths are not included in the price during your charter. Each marina has different pricelist; therefore, prices differ from marina to marina. Here is the pricelist of ACI marinas in Croatia
For the check in it is important that all crew members have original passports/ID. Skipper must have original nautical and VHF certificates.
Almost every marina has a parking place in the marina so you can leave your car. Parking is usually not included in the price and the cost is approx. 10 Eur per day. But, of course, prices differ from marina to marina.
Marina costs are usually from 50-100 eur per night, depending on the yacht length. For example, berth cost for a 12 m sailing yacht would be approx. 57 euros per night in most marinas. The cost for a 12 m catamaran would be double this price, as prices for catamarans are double the price of a sailing yacht. As mentioned before, each marina has its own pricelist so prices are different and subject to change.
During high season charter is possible on weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. Short terms are possible in off season and as last minute arrangement. Furthermore, we can offer some yachts with check-in in the middle of the week, so feel free to contact us with your request.

Charter season in Croatia usually starts end of March, early April and ends in late October. Actually, any time you pick would be great for you. Of course, this depends on your preferences and what you expect from your vacation. If you are looking for a more adventurous and more active sailing, we recommend the preseason and postseason. Weather in this period is windier and more challenging than in the summer months. If you are looking for a more leisure and relaxing vacation, summer season is a perfect choice for you. Also, different charter periods offer different discounts and prices, so perhaps this will be significant for your choice as well.
In any case, if you can’t decide on a period or a yacht, just drop us an email and we will suggest the best for you.

The APA is usually 30-40% amount of the charter price. This is the extra cost to the charter price. The APA amount covers all the expenses during the charter, like food, drinks, fuel, marina fees, transfers, etc. The captain on board, keeps records on all expenses during the charter and informs you on the expenses. If you spend more than this amount you will have to pay the difference at the end of the charter, and if you spend less than this amount the rest will be returned to you.
